Production Facility

Access Natural Water (Pvt) Ltd is equipped with a purpose designed, modern factory in Udagama, Padukka, with a magnificent blend of the surrounding natural environment and a stunning view, overlooking a stream. The factory, located at source, was designed and constructed by professionals, in conformance to the highest local and international standards of the bottled water industry.

Water is extracted from highly protected deep wells that reach down to 200ft beneath the rock bed, thus avoiding the contamination of water through surface contact, while preserving the natural goodness and quality of fresh water. Then the water undergoes an elaborate filtration process with the use of a biological filtration system which mimics the natural purification process, eliminating the addition of chemicals at any stage of purification. Upon this, a succession of laboratory tests are conducted both in our fully equipped  in house laboratory as well as other outsourced, accredited labs such as the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI) and the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI); thus giving rise to ‘Aquafresh’ – naturally purified bottled drinking water Production is done at source in hygienically sealed chambers with a fully automated washing, filling, capping and packaging procedure that eliminates the need for the bottles to be ‘touched by human hands’. All production processes take place in separate units that are designed to perform each step of the bottling process, both effectively as well as efficiently. A different unit has been designed and constructed to accommodate the production of the PET bottles.

Everything is designed and performed according to the SLS 894, ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005 and Dutch HACCP standard with the approval of Sri Lankan Health Ministry (registration No. CFA/BW/19/2006-07), with the necessary expertise and trained staff to deliver a product of unmatched quality.
